Where exactly do you mean by the playa breakwater? Do you mean the one guarding the main channel of Marina del Rey, or is there another one further south that I don't know about?
Either way, I assume you were diving the outside?
I live in MDR and have always wanted to dive the breakwater there (for bugs of course)
