I love walking over rocks in my rock boots, getting the on is not that tough, however they always seem to be a pain to take off. Also, my normal dive fin is a Med, I have to go with XL for my Rock Boots. Finally, I don't get the same force when I kick. I think it's because both the boots and fins are large for me, but it was important to be able to get them on and off quickly for beach entries.
My Final Answer... love them. Have often thought about bringing them on overseas trips, I have have stepped on one too many sharp things in the past.
