I generally dive nitrox on deep wrecks and judge my impairment by how well I remember the details of the dive. I haven't personally experienced any increased narcosis on nitrox, although since too much O2 is also toxic I could see that we probably don't yet know everything there is to know... I tend to trust the books as written by IANTD.
