Thanksgiving with the family was good. It dumped rain on Escondidio on Saturday - over an inch.
The drive was pure hell both ways. Up the grapevine stop and go in first gear in both directions.
I'll be down next month for a Northern Channel Islands trip. I've just about talked myself into the June trip on the Horizon. Right now, I'm helping to put together a Catalina/SoCal trip for a group.
I'd be interested in seeing and talking with you about your gear changes. I've never seen anyone using that setup. I've only read about it.
