Read my post and the Meyer-Overton rule because while on a strict comparison of the solubility issues you have a point, but when you boil it down to being underwater at depth, you'll clearly see that 02 does not impair a diver at depth with the same narcotic potency as N2..

Let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'll expand because, for a wide variety of reasons, N2 at depth is bad and that isn't the worst part about N2 at depth.. Dypsenia is much worse..
