The DIR demo I want to was in large part a Halcyon marketing seminar, with a large part devoted to how the Halcyon back plate was superior to the competition.
This is not to say there was no useful information.
There was, and anyone going will probably learn something useful.
However, to say there is no commercial tie in is disingenuous on MHK's part.
I know that Halcyon supplies him with some of the gear he uses for demos.
If I were Halcyon, I would do the same.
Free marketing is the best kind.
