George - I stand by my comments.

You weight for the safety stop, not the surface. You have to be able to maintain depth at the end of the dive - rapid or uncontrolled ascents are a much bigger threat than drowning on the surface. That's what dropping belts is for.

As I said, MHK *will* be negative. Those in a drysuit with light insulation may be as well during the summer.

And I have spent long periods underwater in Laguna shallower than 15', in 2 dives there (~70min each).
