and he definately measured from the rear of the eye socket, midline. Looks like you are just going to have to grimace (not grin) and bear it.
Better luck in the future, I think the best suggestion out of all these here was to take your gauge and file off another 1/16", just to give yourself a margin of safety in the future. I went ahead and did that after I read that advice.
