Actually..Keeping an Octopus shouldn't be that difficult..because they are bivalve they should be able to live in water that may not be perfect..Getting live clams for them to feed on would be easy...You would have to keep a lid on your tank because they don't mind crawling out of the water to escape..although I don't think he would last long hiding under your couch.. The biggest one I've caught and brought to the surface was close to 70lbs. and almost completely covered my body..They get big up in British Columbia.. The only other downfall would be that they are shy, so it would hide a lot and they are Nocturnal
