Well, its always cold. Temps at the surface in June can be mid 60's, however there is a more pronounced thermocline at that time of year, whereas now the thermocline is practically non-existent. I'd say bare minimum out at those sites are 1/4 inch -7 mil. all the way around. Especially wear a hood and 3 mil vest is a good idea since you're doing multi dives/days. I'd still go with the drysuit if he's got one. Better to be too warm than too cold.
