I was there a couple of years ago. We were there over Christmas so it's probably about the same. We stayed at the Hotel Finisterra which is on the top of the ridge that extends out to Land's End. We like it because you can walk to town, including the dive operations in the inner harbor. It also had a new section of rooms and a really nice pool/lanai set up. We used a dive operation called Underwater Diversions right there on the water front - I don't know if they're still there, but they were ok to dive with. Once you do the standard tourist dives around the sand falls and Land's End there isn't much else there. We did the trip up to Cabo Pulmo too, which was a long ride from Cabo San Lucas but a better set of dives. The water isn't tropical warm - I used the top of my farmer john and was comfortable. Hope this helps.
