If that 6% figure is accurate from the sport anglers then putting the squeeze on them isn't going to help very much in the decline. Is it possible to work with the anglers and go toe to toe together against DF&G to reduce the commercial take. The government subsidizes farmers not to over produce why not fishermen who may need to be curtailed somewhat? Just my .02.

ps: Whoever stepped forward to help fight for the Giant Black Sea Bass years ago, thank you. They probably would be extinct by now if closures weren't imposed.
