in warm water i notice it at 140 + and my head was a spinnin' at 202 fsw once. In cooler to cold water i've noticed it at 120 fsw. If i am feeling under the weather, low on sleep or am freezing my butt off, i have noticed a loss of performance at 60 fsw (although that could just be the cold water acting on my inner ears, especially after one of mine blew out) Many folks could very easily be impaired without actually feeling narced however. I've never been so narced however that i didn't know what was going on or had to rely on a buddy to drag me back to shallower depths. Still the DIR guys have the right idea about 100 ft max narcotic depth. Somewhere in the archives i posted a link on a rather telling article in the BSAC mag that addressed performance at 100 fsw, and it was pretty sad, even in the subjects that thought they could handle it.
