Yeah, this is all true. I was on the Iron Agony on that day. I have no idea where the panga swamped, though. Presumably, it was in deeper water. I lost my entire rig, lots of expensive gear. In fact, several divers lost gear. There were 12 divers in the panga and, amazingly, most of the gear was recovered. To its credit so far, the company has been responsive and has already submitted a claim to their insurance company.
BTW, it was an incredibly rough ride back to the mainland. Any more questions???
