Richard,

I know what DIR is and where it applies. The fact is there are many different diving disciplines and configurations that work. It certainly appears that you have read and remembered my posts I'm honored. Here's on topic that seperates me from DIR: Computers, I have pointed out that IMO OW multi-level divers are safer to use computers to monitor their N2 or O2 status. If this is to Dis DIR to you "tough". If you don't like too bad, go throw the POS away.

We discuss issues here on the BBS, I have had many interesting(IMO) exchanges with MHK and others. If you have something to contribute, do so and stop your whinning.

Here's a quote from GI3 on a topic that pertains to you.

"Where I empathize with Dr Black strongly is in the fact that 99% of the
"DIR" divers out there and about 50% of the WKPP have no clue what DIR is
or what they are talking about, are not living up to the standards of DIR
in any way, and are in the "can't walk and chew gum" category. These "free
thinkers" as you call them, chuckie, are the morons who pervert DIR and
come across as idiots. These people make no sense to a guy like Dr Black or
anyone else for that matter, and it is no wonder that Black thinks we are
full of shit. Taken as a group, we are."
