In today's LA Times, Section B Page 7, there is a recall on DUI buoyancy control systems due to an overpressure valve that sticks open. the valve was used on over 3500 units (both jacket and wing types) that were manufactured between November 1997 and November 2001.
From what sparse information is provided in the article, it does NOT appear that these valves are the ones used on their drysuits.
DUI will replace the valves for free. Call 1-800-325-8439 for more information.
