A couple of years ago i came across the remnants of a giant squid at the Avalon Bank. It had suckers that were 1 1/2" in dia. I emailed a biologist at DFG and he told me that mine was the 4th report he had gotten in recent months. It coinsided with the presence of killer whales in the channel....
