Investment is not the only reason to use film.
Film has more resolution than digital today.
Film has more dynamic range than digital today.
There are only a few housings for digital cameras.
There are considerably more lens options for
the Nik-V and S&S than there are for most
digitals -- to get those options you are into
cameras like a Nikon D-1 which is about twice the
price of an F5 (most expensive film Nikon).
Film, stored properly, is more archival than
digital.
