Last Sat, i took the good skiff on a late afternoon run (HPOM!) to the east end of San Clelemte. Got there in plenty of time to set up the cot, fine sleeping bag, feather pillow, rum @ coke on ice before the commencement of the PHC.

"Oh hear that ol' piano, from down the avenue..."

"i smell the roses, i look around for you...."

"It's saturaday'n, the band is play'n, honey who could ask for more?"

Anyway the water is 57 everywhere, there was good vis at the island. I found a cave at the east end. It was in 40ft of water and it was about 20 feet wide and 6 feet tall, don't know how far back it goes. Anyway on one of my dives down, i go straight to the bottom and come down on my belly with camera in hand right at the entrance. As i look up, i see this huge dust cloud across the opening! Something very substantial had just bolted across the opening and i missed it!!!!!!!!!!! :(

It was so traumatic that i just had to go back! So 'i'm leaving at this late hour (noon~) to skim across the open seas.... (how presumptious of me!)

Happy hollidays! Good diving!

Brad
