Who Knows About GPS's?

First off, I hope everyone had a great christmas and got all that new dive gear they wanted.
It's also been a long time since I have posted or read this board due to the all the deragatory comments and stupid little wars going on. It's nice to see that a lot of that has cleared up.

Anyway, who has any info on GPS units? I want to get one for my boat so I can return to newly discovered dive sites that we find.
Has anyone heard of the new "WAAS" technology and how it works?
What brands and models are best for nautical use?
Where is the best place to buy one and how much should I expect to pay?
