I don't think the local poker houses (Bay 101,
etc.) benefit Native Americans at all. The
reservation casinos do, but they don't qualify as
local.
eBay can be a good place to find strange stuff.
I haven't bought any dive gear there, but I've
gotten a good deal on some hard to find
computer-controlled slide projectors (street price
$1200, I paid $700 for new condition) and some
absolutely superb deals on lenses for them (new:
$600, I paid $100 and $150 for new condition)
and a rack to hold them (new: about $800, I paid
$90). But you gotta know what you want, and have
a bit of trust, and be very patient. I waited six
months for the projectors, a year for the rack. I
don't think I'd buy life support stuff there.
