I did not scroll back that far on this board to see If anyone posted about the new Ab rules, but this is what I heard.
In 2002 the new daily limit will be 3 and a total of 24 per year may be taken. There is one loop hole though, and that is that there are two free fishing days where fishermen or divers do not need a licence to take game (as I heard it, this also means not needing to punch your card on these days).
This year I took 43 and I ate every one of them except for 3, which I gave to my friends.
