The warranty question is a good one to ask directly of the Manufacuter (not dealer who may say anytning to make the sale). In electronics, products purchased overseas by stores and "illegally" imported were called greymarket (Several Local "Discount" houses do this. These products were not intended for the US market, the directions were not in english, and the warranty was VOID.
By the way, the questions you are asking are good, but should have been answered in your SCUBA Certification Class. Where did you get Certified for SCUBA?
