on a philosophical level i have to agree /w/ you but on a practical basis, i would be willing to guess that the media and the legislature would view it differently, especially given our culture's shift from the idea of "personal responsibility" towards the nanny state and the "victocracy".
look at all the lawsuits blaming gun manufacturers for the actions of the criminal class or the lawsuits against the tobacco companies. They'd likely as not blame padi or ssi's 'advertising and knowingly pushing a dangerous activity on the parents and children'.
