Just got off the phone with Captain Tim who tells me that the Navy has lifted the 300-yard perimiter around San Clemente Island, which means the island's open again for diving (pending any changes in the world condition).
On a related note, we've got a single-day trip planned for this Sunday on the Great Escape with Tim to Clemente's frontside (mid-island down to East End Reef) and had about 10 spots left as of Tuesday afternoon. 310/652-4990 if you're interested in joining us.
