You can't have it both ways, folks. You want "free and open"? It comes with a price, that of being subjected to mindless rants.

Want to start kicking people out because you disgaree with them or don't like them? Great. So what are the paramters of this "sniff test" and what will you do when the boundaries shift to inldue things YOU startr saying that you think are within the parameters?

Censorship is a slippery slope.

If you're dumb enough to read the posts of people who have shown, over time, a lack of reason, courtesy, or redeeming content, and then you get upset over the existence of said posts, you've got no one to blame but yourself.

It's a small BBS, for goodness sake, appealing to enthusaists of a niche sport. It's not like any of this has any relevance on a larger (aka world) scale.

Grow up folks. And stop reading and replying to the provacatuers.
