When I switched over to a single hose reg (from a double hose) I got a couple of Poseidon Cyklons. The darn things could suck a vacuum on a tank before you noticed much in the way of the usual "sucking on a straw" effect.
SPGs were one of my favorite "new fangled inventions".
In my YMCA class the students were allowed to turn each other's air off, yank masks, flippers, etc. Fun, but the payback kept us on the nice side.
