Please, pull the cotton out of your ears. It has been suggested for many years that these issues may be of concern to children diving. If you look deeply into diving history you will see a common trend of NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO RESEARCH.
While you try to justify this, organizations like PADI are lowering the minimum age required to enter a SCUBA program. Yes, you only have to be 9 now to play with compressed gases.
