I've not seen any in the last 24 months here either. I will contact SeaCrest at CSULA and try and get ahold of a person to whom you, and others can report your findings. there are people who are aware of this, but they do not necessarily work for DFG.
Last May at the SCAS symposium, a few researchers were trying to set up a database which could contain data from fishermen, divers etc. Well see how that has come along. Give me a week or so and i will get back to y'all.
