You're right, Wayne. Thank you. I reread the suit and read the section on chosing an instructor. I see what PADI is upset about. I also see why NAUI might be upset, as well. Whether PADI is more upset about what is not true versus what is true will, I suppose, await a day in court.

I would nevertheless like to hear from one of the attorney's on here as to some of the issues I raised-acknowledging your correction, of course. Put another way, if diverlink can cite PADI professionals as sources for their article, particularly those professionals who happen to also teach for NAUI/YMCA, could they not have a case that, like any journalist, they reported based upon a good faith attempt to get the facts.
Then there's the question of damages. Anyway, I failed to follow my mother's wishes and attend law school so now I need help.
