Like you, I'm "IF'Y" on the kids diving idea. I learned at 16, but would have learned at 6 if I could've. Because I had this thing about almost drowning, (at 4-ocean/riptide, 5-pushed into a pool and 6-the old country swimming hole), I learned to swim underwater before I could swim on the surface. My comment was only to say that often we don't always notice that others our watching us, and I haven't met anyone yet that didn't at some time say one thing, than do another w/o realizing it.
