I have finally retired the old suit. It was one of those Pacific Wilderness one-piece jobs. Worked well for a while, but finally gave up the ghost. I had a couple hundred warm dives on it, but now it is compressed. Not knocking the suit for that, it happens to all of them eventually. This last year it has been feeling pretty cold at depths > 60 fsw.

So today I went to the Dive & Surf yard sale. Found a new 7mm X2 onepiece for really cheap. And they had my size (big diver size)!

Any time I get a wetsuit for < $150 including tax, I am pretty happy. My days of being cold are gone! Seas look flat too. Now if only I knew how much weight to add for the new suit... Alas, I will know before the weekend is out! Yipee!
