This is exactly correct. I have beena diver for 31yrs, started military for 12 yrs, and have been teaching for the rest. The instructor must be patient and realize everyone learns different. I teach green water diving and have taken a lon as 8 months to certify. The question you need to ask is "Do you want to just certify or do you want to learn to dive."
