I carry a pair of small scissors to trim my moustache on multi-day trips and make sure that I trim every morning before a dive.
It took me a while to find a masks that fit well. I now have an Oceanic Shadow. It's a low volume mask with a soft skirt.
I used to use purge-valve masks, so exhaling out my nose to clear water from my mask has become second nature.
