vis & overall beach diving conditions..... Malibu to Ventura. Anyone???

I am planning on a beach dive (SCUBA or free diving)this weekend, and would like to get a general idea of visibility, and overall conditions for beaches as far south as Malibu/Dume area, to as far north as Ventura/Rincon -ish. Any info is greatly appreciated.
