PV vs. Malibu for the best bug huntin'?

OK you seasoned bug hunters - give up the goods...

I'm planning to take my boat out on Thursday night for a bug hunt. At least from looking at the swell direction graphs on the Net, it looks like I might have a better shot at decent viz in Malibu, but hey it's just a computer, what does it really know?

Any great advice re: the best shot at some late season critters either at PV or Malibu (preferably South of Pt. Dume)?
