You are the fool my friend, if you had done your homework before posting such lunacy, you would know the facts. The State Fish and Game did a study, and found that Commercial Fisherman were only responsible for 10% of the take on all troll caught, and long line fish in California, such as Salmon, Tuna, Black Cod, and Sword Fish.
The real problem, is the lack of funding from government to properly survey and control certain fisheries.Also the diminished spawning beds in our rivers due to silt build up from logging.There is also the growing problem of polusion in our rivers and oceans from industry, and agriculture dumping thier waste and man made pestiscides into our rivers and streams.
The fishing fleet along the coast of California is a fraction of what it used to be due to "Fish Farming", yet the "Wild" population is still dwindling. Why do think that is? I challenge you to open your eyes, and see the big picture. The fleet of fisherman still left in the bussiness is very small already, and when they are gone, who will you blame when the stocks do not return? The problem we have is a global one, dealing with big bussiness, industry, and government, not a small fleet of rag tag boats and fishermen along our coastline. If you ever decide to do anything about the problem, like rebuild spawning beds, count spawning fish, or any other volenteer work to help, you will be greeted by fishermen who interest is the same as yours. The difference is, they know what the real problem is.
