Well, they're not DIR, but I really enjoyed my Cobra when I was doing more tank diving. Thinking of picking up a Mosquito as I'm doing more freediving these days.
Incidentally, although Suunto's suggested retail for a dive-computer-to-PC interface is $150+, I built my own for about ten bucks in parts. (Suunto gives the dive manager software away for free on its web site.) My experiences with this project are recounted here:
