I originally purchased an air intergrated Datamax computer. I told myself I did not need to download the data into my PC. I was also not aware that the Datamax has a "Liberal" Decompession alogrythm. Being 48 yrs old, this is not in my best interest. I dove 10 or so dives with this computer and then got rid of it for a Cobra.
I prefer the Cobra for the following reasons> 1. I it is more conservative. 2. I can adjust it to be even more conservative by selecting either P0 (normal) P1 or P2 conservative, as well as for altitude. I can also print out the data and download it into the computer. This allows me to provide to medical personel information from every 10 seconds of my whole dive, not just what I remember from the many times I looked at the computer. This could be handy or even important if you need medical attention following a dive.
