For those who did not know or have forgotten, this Sunday is the Diver's Day at the aquarium. Show up and show your c-card and get in for free! 900,000 gallons of seawater and over 12,000 critters.
I'll be there with the wife and four kids. Can't beat the price to get us all in for free!
While you're there, think about the rewards of being a volunteer diver and working in the exhibits. Volunteers clean the exhibits, feed the fish, and educate the folks on the dry side of the acrylic windows. There will be volunteer divers walking around being helpful. You can tell them by their Blue AOP shirts and name tags. The name tags tell the department. Divers wear tags that identify them as Dive Volunteers.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum of 18 years old
Certification of Rescue Diver or higher
Minimum of 50 logged dives
Ability to commit to a team for a year.
