The Sand Eaters is a Dive Scheduling Organization. No membership, no fees, no officers. Just a website http://www.sandeaters.org and a calander of dives scheduled for the year every Sunday at 08:00 a.m. Kind of a I am planning on diving here on this date at this time, if you also plan to dive at the same place and time, let us know and we will get together and talk before and after the dive. They are not responsible for teaming you up with a dive buddy or your diving safety etc. (usual legal disclaimber). If you ask to be on their e-mail list, then other divers (like me) can send out a call for a dive on other days and hopefully find someone to dive with. They dive from Malibu to Laguna Beach and occasionaly in San Diego and Catalina.
All in all a great group.
