It's a general email list on freediving. There's a web site associated with it at http://www.freediver.net/ .
Ninety-eight percent of the list participants are spearfishers. There are a few people into competitive deep freediving including at least one world record-holder. Overall the list is a mix of dive reports, equipment discussions, requests for advice on new locales, etc. As a fairly new freediver whose shooting is with a camera, I've always felt very welcome there.
