As you may know, this year we've named the annual Challenge in memory of Jon Hardy to commemeorate Jon's life-long dedication to promoting diver safety.

We're pleased to announce that we're off to a very good start, thanks to the caring professionals of our diving community listed below. We've been asking dive shops to kick in $500 and are pleased to start with the six stores listed below, plus a BBS and a dive boat. (If your favorite store isn't listed here, perhaps you can ask them to join in the cause.)

The Challenge is a very important source of funding for our Chamber and we hope that if you had met Jon, perhaps read some of his articles in Rodale's, or just agree with the notion of promoting diver safety, that you'll consider a donation to the Challenge at whatever dollar level works for you.
