It's a bummer. I missed my dive.
Conditions were great and I was trying to get something together for a
certain shore dive with a local diver and he kept being busy somewhere
else.
So the Lois Ann scheduled for the Sea Cliff. I've wanted to go there
for years, but it was filled by a club. That would have been a great
dive.
Then I tried to get a friend to come from LA so we could charter the
Hydro-Diver and he couldn't make it.
I tried to find something on the local boats and the best hope for
entertainment looked like going on the Lois Ann when the DIR contingent
was there just to see if I could offer Mr. Kane a dive tip or two, but
they were just going to the wrecks.
And then that storm blew in and I knew what that meant. :(
Well, I'm already jonesing, so I expect that as soon as I break down
and get my new BC, I'll have to dive, vis or no vis.
I wouldn't want to take your skiff on a long trip just now, but I
hope you can get some diving in.
