If they want it, they can work to create it or trade their honest creative labor for the NITROX that others create. They don't need the money for it, they need the moral wealth, based on their own creative selfishness.
You're a thief Elsworth. You steal their souls and rob the creativity that they were born with. Then you dole out smaterings of approval based on what they can do for you at this moment. If you set them free, they could create their own NITROX.
