The diving community continues to rise to meet the needs of the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber as the Jon Hardy Chamber Challenge now stands at $15,010. Who's going to help us get to $16,000?????

As you know, divers suffering from embolism or bends must get to a hyperbaric chamber for treatment. Our Chamber is unique in that it's the ONLY chamber in our area that's solely dedicated to treating diver injuries. Since it's out on Catalina and not directly affiliated with a hospital our Chamber doesn't do non-diving treatments that other hyperbaric units might do. It's available 24/7/365 for divers. And although there is an annual grant from LA County, that only covers somewhat over 50% of our Chamber's budget. The rest must be raised through other funding, which is why Chamber Day (and the Jon hardy Chamber Challenge) is so important to our Chamber and the general safety of divers in the SoCal area.

If you'd like to get involved with the Jon Hardy Chamber Challenge, it's easy to do. You can sign up on the web at

http:\\www.chamberday.org

. . . OR . . . you can mail a check to: Chamber Day, 8612 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90211 (make it payable to either Reef Seekers or Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber - mark "Challenge" on the memo line) . . . OR . . . you can call us at 310/652-4990 and do it all over the phone. (All donations are tax-deductible as the Chamber is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization FIC 95-1642394, CGEC ONAF5.) We sincerely appreciate whatever level of support that's right for you.

Chamber Day is getting closer - 10 full days to go - so . . . WHO'S NEXT?????
