For easy diving the area off the Club Med is OK. It's called Punta Nizuc (sp?). For more advanced folks the area off the 7 (New Cancun looks like a 7 .... the top being the bay between Isla Mujeres and Cancun and the long leg of the 7 being ocean side) The ocena side is a great area with lots of swim throughs and is an excellent night dive area. The cattle boats will not usually take you there. I had success with the folks at Mundo Marino (next to Senior Frogs).
