FYI, just got off the phone with Captain Tim Burke of the Great Escape. Both the Sport Chalet trip Saturday and the Reef Seekers trip Sunday which were both to have gone to Santa Barbra, have been changed to Catalina, due to anticipated deteriorating wind/swell conditions out at SBI.
Tim feels (and I agree) that there's no sense in leaving at 2AM and beating everyone up just to "prove" that we couldn't go to SBI, and then ending up at Catalina anyhow.
For our Sunday trip (and I assume for the Sport Chlaet trip as well), you can sleep on-board the G.E. the night before if you like, or show up in the morning. Departure time (both days) is at 7AM, and you should be back sometime after 5PM.
