The answer is no, I haven't. I'm usually on a rocking boat with a bunch of yahoos so examining tear drops has practical limitations. That's not a good reason not to do it, but there it is.

Not that taking Doppler readings in real time is easy. Trying to catagorize bubbles in the pre cordial region is tough anyway, but on a rocking boat with the motor running and Frank Zappa on the stereo it's a nightmare.

Now that I have a 2 Mhz probe, I'm looking to input precordial signals direct to the laptop where they can be displayed visually. Karl Huggins has something like this and it's very cool.
