"You would care on a dive vacation having no computer doing repetitive dives and trusting your PADI dive table. On the third or fourth day of diving your bent and can not figure out why."

If you get bent using the tables, either PADI, Naui or NAVY then I contend you are doing something wrong and don't understand how to use them. Those tables are far more conservative than most of the computers in use today. The thing I found about table diving is that my diving day is almost over after the second dive and any third dive would cause a violation in table math. Assuming you are calculating max depth and time as most novice divers do.

Can you explain how you got bent or the person you're talking about and what were the profiles?

Steve
